Terms of Service for FilterMadness

By downloading, installing, or using FilterMadness ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the App.

License

FilterMadness is licensed, not sold. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms of Service and in compliance with applicable law.

Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the photos you process using FilterMadness. We claim no rights to your content. However, when you use our service, you grant us a limited license to process your photos using the OpenAI API for the sole purpose of applying filters as requested by you.

Credit System

FilterMadness operates on a credit-based system for saving filtered photos:

• Photo credits are consumable in-app purchases.
• Each credit allows you to save one filtered photo.
• Credits are consumed when saving a filtered image.
• Once a credit is used, it cannot be refunded.
• Unused credits remain valid indefinitely.
• Credits are tied to your Apple ID and may be accessible across your devices.

Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. Refund requests should be directed to Apple through the App Store, as all payments are processed by Apple, not by us.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use FilterMadness for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms. Specifically, you may not:

• Process or create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Process content that infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disassemble, or hack the App or defeat any security features
• Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App or interfere with others' use of the App

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR OTHER LOSSES (EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE APP.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
